Update

Here is what we've been up to...

More reading in bed for James & Ben. Whenever Ben wants to find his dad, he heads straight for our bedroom and walks up to James' side of the bed (he's often not there, of course, but Ben has learned that if Dad is home and isn't playing with him, he's sleeping--poor James).

Ben has apparently become fashion-conscious. On this day, I was getting him dressed and he grabbed these overall shorts and insisted that he wear them over his clothes. So, I let him (until we left the house, at least).

Playing music with Dad is one of the only activities Ben will sit still for. I think he's singing as he's playing the guitar here.

Who doesn't love vacuuming in the nude? Ben is addicted to the vacuum cleaner.

Ben is also very serious about his work on the computer.

I ran the Tulip Run in Burlington, WA yesterday. We forgot the camera, so this was our after-race photo. James had the day off, so we all went up together and I got to run without the running stroller. It was a great 5-mile run, but there was not a tulip in sight.

Today for lunch Ben ate 19 olives. He kept asking for more, so I kept giving them to him. He must be James' son, as I have only recently learned to tolerate olives on pizza. I have never eaten a plain olive in my life.

Hi Katrina,
congratulations on your fun run effort. It looks like you enjoyed yourself. Of course we enjoyed seeing Ben's pictures. He seems to enjoy life a lot. He's intent and eager at whatever he does. James and Ben reading together and playing the banjo are priceless. Thanks for sharing. Love Dave and Suzanne

He is looking more like a little boy (rather than a baby) everyday. I LOVE him.

Can't wait to hear about the NO Tulip run--WHAT!!??
