In the last month that I haven't posted anything on this blog, we spent a couple of weeks in Idaho. I drove with Ben by myself and we survived the 9+ hour trip. James was able to come for a weekend in the middle of our trip. It was great. McCall is my favorite place at this time of year (Seattle is pretty high on that list, too). We were there for my 10-year class reunion, which was fun (so fun that I forgot to take any pictures). We had a great time playing in the lake, being with my family, and being away from home. We also got a visit in McCall from Emily E & her kids--so fun! They are finally in Boise and we're so excited to join them in less than a year! Here are some highlights from the trip...
This was before we left, but I just love this picture of Ben with yogurt everywhere. He is really good at eating with a spoon or fork, but he sometimes decides that he needs to use his hands to scoop out the rest of the yogurt. Here he thought the hand and the fork were the best tools for the job.
Ben loved the jet ski, but when we actually went out for a ride, he was a little unsure. Here it is safely parked on the beach.

I made Ben go on the tube with me and he was a little unsure at first, but then he kind of warmed up to it. Toward the end he actually started waving on his own.
Ben got to drive the boat. It was heavenly for him! The girls on the tube may not have been too happy about having a toddler drive them, but Grandpa was nearby.

Of course we got to see Cami while we were there. Ben is still talking about Cami and their game on the stairs from April ("Cami...bonk").

Sooo fun! And Ben and Zach are super cute! I love the pics. Katrina. . . we may just be here a little longer. . . it would be so fun to be in Boise with you!!!
Sounds like the perfect trip! I'm glad you get to go and see your family and friends as often as you do. It's great. Ilee and I enjoyed all of the cute pictures of Ben. I think my favorite was the one on the jet ski. So cute!
That sounds like such a fun trip! Ben is getting so big! I have my ten year reunion coming up this fall and I can't wait! But I only have to drive about 45 minutes...
